Sets a fixed flow or pressure drop by throttling on the A-cone characteristic; the spindle position is read on a scale and can be locked. Supplied with a seal cap in place of the handwheel for set-and-secure duty. Nominal size 32 mm (1 1/4 in) with butt weld connections to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 80. Steel body for R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F).
