Danfoss REG-SA 25 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5414. The REG-SA is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve used to set and hold a fixed flow in liquid, suction and hot-gas lines. It carries the A cone (fine, near-linear throttling); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the straightway body in 25 mm (1 in) socket weld connections to ASME B 16.11. Flow coefficient Kv 7 m3/h (Cv 8.1 gal/min). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Cold-resistant steel housing for HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Built on the SVL Flexline modular platform and serviceable with SVL Flexline spare parts. REG-SA and REG-SB differ only in cone characteristic; select REG-SA for fine regulation and REG-SB for higher capacity at the same nominal size.
