Danfoss REG-SA 20 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5304. The REG-SA is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve used to set and hold a fixed flow in liquid, suction and hot-gas lines. It carries the A cone (fine, near-linear throttling); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the angleway body in 20 mm (3/4 in) socket-weld connections to ASME B 16.11. Flow coefficient Kv 1.5 m3/h (Cv 1.7 gal/min). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Cold-resistant steel housing for HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Built on the SVL Flexline modular platform and serviceable with SVL Flexline spare parts. REG-SA and REG-SB differ only in cone characteristic; select REG-SA for fine regulation and REG-SB for higher capacity at the same nominal size.

Select by cone characteristic (REG-SA = A cone fine regulation; REG-SB = B cone higher capacity), nominal size (20 mm / 3/4 in), body (angleway) and connection standard (Socket weld ASME B 16.11). EN 10220 (DIN), ASME B 36.10M (carbon-steel schedule) and ASME B 16.11 (socket-weld) weld-end preparations are not interchangeable — confirm the mating pipe schedule before ordering. The angleway body has inlet and outlet at 90 degrees; where an in-line fit is required use the straightway version of the same size. Shares the SVL Flexline platform with SVA-S/SVA-L shut-off valves and CHV-X/SCA-X check valves; spare parts are common to the platform.
