Danfoss OFV 20 angle-way overflow / pressure regulating valve for industrial refrigeration, code 2412+183. Steel body with butt-weld connections to EN 10220, nominal size 20 mm (3/4 in). The OFV combines three functions in one valve: an overflow valve, a check valve and a stop valve. Opening (set) differential pressure is adjustable 2-8 bar (29-116 psi) by turning the spindle: 2-6.5 bar without the distance piece, 3.5-8 bar with the supplied distance piece fitted under the spring. The valve is designed to prevent fluttering at low velocity and/or low density, so it can be applied across wide capacity demand swings from full load to part load. It has internal backseating, allowing the spindle seal to be replaced while the valve is still under pressure, and can be closed manually during plant service. Maximum working pressure 40 bar (580 psig); media temperature range -50 to 150 C. Flow coefficient Kv 0 - 0.52 m3/h. For R134a, R22, R404A, R407C, R407F, R410A, R507A, R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and other HCFC/HFC refrigerants. PED Article 4, paragraph 3 (sound engineering practice). EAC certified.

The distance piece supplied with the valve shifts the adjustable range from 2-6.5 bar to 3.5-8 bar. OFV and OFV-SS share the same internal parts and servicing.
