Danfoss FIA 200 strainer housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, store code 148B6305. Steel straightway body with butt-weld connections both ends to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 40 and a bolt-on cover. The FIA is an in-line strainer that protects downstream valves, pumps and compressors from pipe scale and weld debris; this is the pressure-containing housing (with cover) that takes a replaceable FIA INS strainer insert — available in 38, 72, 100, 150, 250 and 500 micron, plain or pleated (ordered separately). Suited to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Nominal size 200 mm (8 in); flow coefficient (housing plus insert) 438.1 m3/h (µ150 plain insert) to 474.5 m3/h (µ500 plain insert).
