Danfoss ETS 8M40L stepper-motor electric expansion valve, code 034G8812. Copper-body in-line valve with 7/8 in (22 mm) Solder ODF copper inlet and outlet, 4 mm orifice and a Linear flow characteristic, bi-flow. Permanent-magnet stepper (1-2 half-step excitation, 500 half-steps) gives precise refrigerant expansion and flow control for modular chillers, single-package air conditioners and low-ambient heat pumps. Rated 62.8 kW / 17.8 TR on R410A. MWP 49 bar (711 psig); MOPD 39 bar forward / 32 bar reverse. Refrigerant and ambient -30 to 70 °C. Driven by a compatible Danfoss (or third-party) electronic controller, ordered separately. OEM P/N 034G8812.

Compatibility
ETS 8M is a stepper valve — it does not operate stand-alone. Drive it with a compatible Danfoss electronic controller (or a compatible third-party controller). Confirm orifice / flow characteristic (L = linear, S = S-shape), connection size and refrigerant before ordering. Linear (L) and S-shape (S) variants share body and connection but differ in the flow-vs-opening curve used for controller tuning.
