Danfoss CHV-X 40 check (non-return) valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5637. The CHV-X permits refrigerant flow in one direction only and closes to prevent back-flow toward pumps, compressors and vessels. The cold-resistant steel housing carries a spring-loaded, guided cone with a V-port profile that throttles below roughly 25% lift to suppress valve chatter and noise. This SKU is the angleway body with 40 mm (1 1/2 in) butt-weld connections to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 80. Flow coefficient Kv 30 m3/h (Cv 34.8 gal/min); minimum opening differential pressure 0.04 bar (0.62 psi); flow direction marked by an embossed 1-way arrow. Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). For HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems.
