Zerust ICT open cell VCI foam emitter pad — an open-cell polyurethane foam pad impregnated with vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) for protecting metal surfaces inside packaging, enclosures and shipping containers. Each pad diffuses invisible, odorless VCI molecules that settle onto exposed metal; on opening the enclosure the VCI dissipates so parts can be handled, painted or processed without cleaning. Protects ferrous and some non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass, copper) for up to 1 year in a sealed enclosure. Nitrite-free and chromate-free. Each pad covers up to 1.5 ft³ (0.042 m³) of enclosed space (ferrous). Size 2 in × 5 in × 0.25 in. Supplied as a case of 100. Zerust part number 375-F-00008.
