The KOME 4 control and measurement board for the Wedeco SEC control system. It carries the measurement and control logic the reactor runs on, so a board fault takes the plant out of service even when lamps, sleeves and sensor are sound. Wedeco designates the board SEC KOME 4; the designation is carried exactly as the manufacturer states it. Wedeco was founded in Herford, Germany in 1976 and is now a Xylem brand.
