SKF 99X123X19DFCR60 metal face seal (duo-cone / mud seal). Rotary metal face seal — two lapped cast-alloy sealing rings loaded together by opposed elastomer torics. Designed to seal shafts running in gritty, abrasive slurry conditions where a lip seal would be immediately destroyed. Standard on track-drive final-drives on tracked excavators, dozers and marine deck-machinery where dredge slurry, cement wash or seawater is present. Nominal shaft speed to 4 m/s.
