Siemens 3RB3123-4SE0 SIRIUS 3RB3 Solid-State Overload Relay with Ground-Fault Detection — 3 – 12 A, Size S0, Spring-Loaded Terminals

The Siemens 3RB3123-4SE0 is a SIRIUS 3RB3 solid-state (electronic) overload relay for motor protection, with internal ground-fault detection. It monitors the motor current electronically rather than through bimetal strips, which gives a wider setting range from a single device and a setting that does not drift with ambient temperature. The current setting is adjustable over 3 – 12 A and the trip class is selectable, so the relay can be matched to the starting time of the motor it protects. Integrated ground-fault detection trips the relay on an earth fault in the motor or its cabling — typically the first sign of failing winding insulation — without a separate earth-fault relay or external summation transformer. It is built for direct attachment to a size S0 contactor and uses spring-loaded (spring-clamp) terminals on the main and auxiliary circuits, which need no retightening after installation and hold under vibration. Manual and automatic reset are both supported, and one NO plus one NC auxiliary contact are provided.
