Seagate SkyHawk AI ST12000VE003 is a 12 TB, 3.5-inch surveillance-class hard drive built for AI-enabled NVRs and continuous 24/7 video recording. It runs at 7,200 RPM over a SATA 6 Gb/s (Serial ATA Revision 3.3) interface with a 512 MB cache and conventional magnetic recording (CMR). Seagate rates it for a 550 TB/year workload and 2,500,000-hour MTBF (0.35% AFR), with 600,000 load/unload cycles and a 1-in-10^15 nonrecoverable-read-error rate.
