Melbye 1082993 is a 288-fibre ADSS (all-dielectric self-supporting) optical cable for aerial installation with a 70 m span between poles. The G652D single-mode fibres are housed in stranded loose tubes with 12 fibres per tube. The outer sheath is black polyethylene with a nominal diameter of 16.8 mm, UV resistant, and suitable for underground as well as aerial installation.
