Manual wiper rod for Hanovia medium-pressure ultraviolet disinfection systems, part 320510-0573-01. Hand-operated wiper rods in this range are made in several lengths to suit the chamber, and the length is carried in the part number rather than being adjustable — 320510-0573-01 and 320510-1043 are not substitutes for one another. The quartz sleeve is the only optical path between the lamp and the water, so any film of scale or iron on its outer surface cuts the delivered UV dose. The wiper sweeps the sleeve on a timed cycle to keep transmission at the design figure. Reference number 22171-0916.
