The Eaton 248442 is a 230 V AC shunt release accessory that fits to the left of a miniature circuit breaker to enable remote tripping on command. It provides one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact and adds 1.5 modular spacings to the assembly. Typical applications include emergency-off systems, fire alarm interlocks and remote isolation in industrial and commercial switchgear.
