A4 fillable hose pressure test certificate + periodic hydrostatic test procedure for marine cargo, ballast, bunker and drop hoses to OCIMF and EN ISO 7233 / EN 1765. Captures hose identification (serial, manufacturer, bore, length, rated WP, test P = 1.5·WP, burst P, end fittings), test details (date, temperature, hold ≥ 5 min, elongation, twist, electrical continuity) and signed pass/fail. Procedure covers periodic interval (6 mo cargo/bunker, 12 mo ballast/stores), pre-test inspection, fill and vent, pressurisation and continuity measurement for OCIMF bonded hoses.
Cargo Hose Hydrostatic Pressure Test Certificate — Template & Procedure
The A4 PDF above is a fillable hose pressure test certificate that captures hose identification, test details and pass/fail result to OCIMF and EN ISO 7233 / EN 1765. Print it, fill it in at the hose test bench and file it against the ship's OCIMF hose logbook.
Periodic test interval
Cargo, bunker and drop hoses in tanker service are re-tested every 6 months (OCIMF Guide to Purchasing, Manufacturing and Testing of Loading and Discharge Hoses). Ballast and stores hoses every 12 months. A hose exceeding the interval is out of service until re-tested and re-certified.
Procedure
Pre-test inspection — inspect the hose externally for cover cuts, blistering, kink damage and coupling deformation. Reject before testing if any of these are seen.
Fill and vent — fill the hose slowly with fresh water at ambient temperature; vent every air pocket through the highest fitting.
Pressurise — raise pressure at ≤ 10 bar/min to the working pressure (WP), inspect for leaks, then continue to the test pressure of 1.5 · WP (or the value on the hose plate if lower). Hold ≥ 5 min. Pass = no pressure drop > 5 %, no leaks at couplings or through the cover, elongation < 1 mm/m and twist < 3°/m (EN ISO 7233).
