The Siemens 3UF7510-1AA00-0 is the ground-fault module for the SIMOCODE pro V motor management system. It expands a SIMOCODE pro V basic unit with analogue residual current measurement, taken through an external 3UL23 summation current transformer rather than estimated from the phase currents. That lets the system read the actual earth-fault current as a measured value, so a developing insulation fault can be trended and alarmed before it becomes a trip, and the trip threshold and delay can be set in software instead of by hardware selection. One ground-fault module can be fitted per basic unit. It connects to the basic unit over the SIMOCODE system interface and needs no separate supply.
