A Unica System+ prewired modular power unit fitted with a two-pole residual current breaker, rated 16 A at 250 V. It is a made-up assembly rather than a loose device: the unit arrives wired, in a rectangular aluminium housing, with quick-connect (Mini-Wieland) power connections at each end so several modular units can be chained onto one and the same power circuit. It is designed for pole, post and desk mounting, which is where this style of protected power take-off belongs — office furniture, benches, workstations and similar installations where the earth-fault protection has to travel with the outlet. THIS ITEM IS THE WHITE VERSION. It is otherwise identical to the INS44217, which is the anthracite version; colour is the only difference between the two.
