Melbye 1-36kV C70-240 Al/Cu is a mechanical shear-head screw splice sleeve for jointing medium-voltage cable conductors up to 36 kV. The tinned body accepts aluminium or copper conductors in RM, RE, SM, and SE cross sections between 70 and 240 mm² through four shear bolts, with an internal oil-stop centre bar. IP00 rated for use inside an insulated joint kit, supplied uninsulated in packs of 60, manufactured in China. Typical applications include jointing and terminating medium-voltage cables for utility and industrial power networks.
