Melbye MPC-M-45 is a complete heat-shrink joint kit for four-core low-voltage cables with conductor cross-sections of 50 to 95 mm² at 0.6/1 (1.2) kV. The set includes four aluminium/copper shear-head screw connectors, halogen-free plastic insulating components and the outer heat-shrink sleeving required for a finished straight joint. Typical use is repair or extension of paper- and plastic-insulated distribution cables in ducted and direct-buried routes.
