Melbye 4X1,5-10 SMH4G is a heat-shrink cable joint sized for four-core rubber cables of 1.5 to 10 mm² nominal cross-section, rated 0.6/1 (1.2) kV. The joint is compatible with H07RN-F flexible rubber cable and re-establishes insulation, mechanical strength, and moisture sealing at the splice through halogen-free polymeric heat-shrink tubing. Typical applications include the field repair and extension of portable and drum-fed rubber cables on construction and mining supply feeders.
