The CU-12 is the remote earth fault indicator panel for the SECAP-25 directional earth fault relay. The SECAP-25 provides a 12 V output specifically to drive a remote annunciator, and this panel is that annunciator: it gives a visible red indication at the board front or door when the relay detects an earth fault within its own installation, so the condition is seen by whoever is standing in front of the installation and not only by a control system reading the alarm contact. It is a 12 V DC unit with a single red flat round lens, screw terminals and IP20 protection. This is the part required to add local indication to a SECAP25F or SECAP25J, which are supplied without a panel; the SECAP25FP and SECAP25JP already include it.
