SVA-S is a straightway or angleway hand-operated shut-off valve in the Danfoss SVL Flexline range for industrial refrigeration. The standard (S) bonnet version uses a back-seating spindle so the packing can be replaced while the plant is in operation. The valve body and bonnet are made of special cold-resistant steel; the seat is fully interchangeable and the valve gives bi-directional (bi-flow) tight shut-off. A cap or a hand-wheel can be fitted, and the seal cap and spindle packing provide double sealing against the atmosphere. Applicable to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Maximum working pressure 52 bar g (754 psig); working temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F).
