This is the regulating insert that converts an SVL 50 multifunction valve body into a REG-SB 50 hand-operated regulating (throttling) valve; it carries the B cone (higher capacity) on a spindle read against a scale for repeatable manual setting, with a vented cap that can be exchanged for a hand wheel. Supplied as a complete top part: top part, one gasket and four bolts. Flow area 822 mm2. Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Suits HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. The interchangeable top-part design lets an installed SVL 50 body be re-tasked (shut-off, regulating, check & stop or check) by changing only the module, without re-welding.
