The RA 2960 is a gas-charged operator that modulates the radiator valve in proportion to room air temperature, holding a set room temperature without any external power or wiring; the gas charge gives a fast sensor response. The temperature-sensing element is built into the setpoint dial, sensing the air immediately around the valve.
