Danfoss FIA 80 strainer housing for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, store code 148B5906. Steel straightway body with butt-weld connections both ends to EN 10220 and a bolt-on cover. The FIA is an in-line strainer that protects downstream valves, pumps and compressors from pipe scale and weld debris; this is the pressure-containing housing (with cover) that takes a replaceable FIA INS strainer insert — available in 38, 72, 100, 150, 250 and 500 micron, plain or pleated (ordered separately). Suited to R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO2) and fluorinated refrigerants and their oils. Nominal size 80 mm (3 in); flow coefficient Kv 80.0 (µ150 plain) to 113.1 m3/h (µ500 plain). Maximum working pressure 52 bar g (754 psig); media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). net weight 7.65 kg, gross weight 10.44 kg. Conformity assessment PED 2014/68/EU, Category II.
