The L2/8 indicator board carries the status LEDs on a Wedeco control panel, populated with five diodes. It is the panel's local indication of operating state, so a failed board removes the operator's at-a-glance view of the plant without affecting disinfection itself. Wedeco designates the board L2/8; the designation is carried exactly as the manufacturer states it. Wedeco was founded in Herford, Germany in 1976 and is now a Xylem brand.
