Lamp-circuit capacitors work hot and continuously and are a routine wear item. A capacitor that has drifted low shows as a lamp that strikes unreliably or runs below rated output — symptoms easily mistaken for a failing lamp. Check the value printed on the can against the rating below before ordering. This is the 20 µF capacitor used on the KM100 among other Wedeco systems.
