Quartz sleeve wiper holder for a Trojan ultraviolet reactor, moulded in PTFE. The holder is the carrier that presses the wiper element against the sleeve and sets the contact it wipes with. This is the later PTFE holder, Trojan part 794917, and it replaces the earlier Noryl holder, part 794146: PTFE runs against quartz at a lower and more consistent friction and stands up to the UV exposure and scale inside the reactor better than the thermoplastic it supersedes.
