TE Connectivity MRTKPP12CT is a heat-shrink transition joint that bonds a XLPE (PEX)-insulated medium-voltage cable to a paper-insulated cable. It suits three-core cables with concentric shielding, covering conductor cross-sections of 95-240 mm² on the PEX side and 95-150 mm² on the paper side, rated 6/10 (12) kV. Mechanical screw shear-bolt connectors are supplied, so the kit installs without hydraulic crimp tooling. Typical use is when refurbishing or extending legacy paper-lead distribution networks with modern PEX cable.
