TE Connectivity 1167306 is a three-core heat-shrink transition joint for connecting XLPE-insulated cables at 95-240 mm² to paper-insulated cables at 95-185 mm² on medium-voltage networks rated U0/U (Um) 6/10 (12) kV. The kit is halogen-free, includes screw connectors, and supports concentric shielded constructions where a plastic-to-paper interface is required during network refurbishment. Typical use is on utility and industrial 12 kV distribution feeders where legacy paper cable is spliced to modern XLPE runs.
