| SKF LGMT 3 general-purpose industrial and automotive bearing grease. Mineral base oil thickened with lithium soap; NLGI consistency class 3, DIN 51825 code K3K-30, amber. The stiffer NLGI 3 grade suits rolling bearings on shafts above 100 mm, plain bearings, outer-ring rotation, vertical-shaft and propeller-shaft applications, car, truck and trailer wheel bearings and large electric motors. Water-resistant with rust-inhibiting properties and good mechanical stability. Operating temperature range -30 to +120 degC; dropping point >180 degC (DIN ISO 2176); base oil viscosity 125 mm2/s at 40 degC and 12 mm2/s at 100 degC; penetration 220-250 (DIN ISO 2137). Supplied in the 18 kg pail, SKF order designation LGMT 3/18. |
