Prysmian BFOU is a mud-resistant, halogen-free, flame-retardant power cable rated 0.6/1 kV for offshore and marine installations. This construction has three 50 mm² conductors with a 25 mm² earth screen and an outer diameter of 34.5 mm, jacketed in black. It is used for fixed low-voltage power distribution on ships, drilling rigs and offshore platforms in accordance with IEC 60092 and NEK 606.
