The Melbye IN8KT is a 1/2" drive impact hex socket with an 8 mm hex insert, dimensioned for driving screw connectors and terminal sleeves used on conductors up to 630 mm². The 60 mm length provides clearance in busbar and heavy-cable termination assemblies. Typical applications include torqueing large-section mechanical connectors on power cables.
