Melbye 6923408 is a cleaning cassette for fibre-optic connector end-faces. Reel-fed dry cleaning tape removes dust and light contamination from ferrules before mating. Used by fibre technicians during patching and splicing to preserve insertion-loss performance on singlemode and multimode connectors.
