Melbye warning mesh is a red polyethylene marker net supplied on a 500 m roll, 100 mm wide, without integrated tracer wire. Buried above cables and pipes, its high-visibility colour alerts excavators before mechanical damage occurs to the utility beneath. The mesh is chemically resistant and remains stable in soil over long service life. Typical application is protection of low- and medium-voltage cables, water and gas pipes during trench backfill.
