Melbye 1835788 is a PreLube W2000 cable-pulling lubricant supplied as a 950 ml tube with a net weight of 975 g. The water-soluble, acid-free gel is applied to cable jackets to reduce friction during pulls into conduit and duct, and works on plastic surfaces and wet installations. It is not approved for potable-water contact. Typical use is on power and control cable installations in trenches, buildings, and industrial plant.
