Melbye MPP-M-24SKRU is a 0.6/1 kV heat-shrink cable joint fitted with shear-off-head screw connectors, intended for 3- or 4-conductor aluminium or copper plastic-insulated cable jointed to 3-conductor paper-insulated cable. Conductor cross-sections from 50 to 150 mm² are supported and the halogen-free heat-shrink sleeves provide insulation and mechanical protection over the connectors. Typical application is utility distribution joints between legacy paper cable and modern plastic-insulated cable.
