The Melbye MPP-M-04 is a low-voltage cable jointing kit for 3- or 4-core plastic-insulated conductors of 16–25 mm² at 0.6/1 kV. The kit contains four aluminium/copper shear-off screw connectors and a heat-shrink outer sleeve for insulation and mechanical protection of the joint. It is used to splice underground and in-building distribution cables.
