Melbye MPC-2 is a complete three-core heat-shrink splice joint kit for 1 kV cables with conductor cross-sections of 16-25 mm². The kit is halogen-free and supplied with screw connectors featuring shear-off heads for controlled contact pressure, rated U0/U 0.6/1 (1.2) kV. It is used to joint plastic-insulated low-voltage distribution and service cables.
