Melbye SS-3 is a halogen-free heat-shrink straight cable joint for three-core plastic-insulated screened power cable with concentric shielding, sized for conductor cross-sections of 16 to 50 mm² and rated 0.6/1 kV. The joint provides mechanical and electrical continuity through insulation, screen and outer sheath after installation. Used for underground and cable-tray joints on distribution and building supply cables. Connection accessories are ordered separately.
