Loctite SF 7649 (Activator N Primer) 4.5 oz aerosol, code 21348. Accelerator for Loctite anaerobic threadlockers, retaining compounds and gasket makers on inactive metal substrates (stainless steel, aluminium, zinc, cadmium plate). Reduces cure time by 3-5× on non-active surfaces. Also enables anaerobic cure at low temperatures (-20 °C). Direct replacement for the legacy Loctite 707 (Locquic Primer T). | Solvent-based (acetone carrier) activator, green-dyed, Grade N. Increases cure speed and breakaway torque of Loctite anaerobic threadlockers, retaining compounds and sealants on inactive (passive) metals -- stainless steel, plated, anodised and zinc surfaces -- and where service temperature is low (below 15 degC); widens the cure gap. Apply, allow solvent to flash off, then apply the anaerobic adhesive; on-part life up to approx 30 days. Highly flammable (acetone); specific gravity approx 0.74.
