Fast-evaporating solvent for surface preparation before Loctite anaerobic threadlockers, gasket makers and structural adhesives. | Technology solvent cleaner; chemical type isoparaffin, dimethoxymethane and ethanol blend. Clear colourless solution, very low viscosity, leaves no residue on evaporation. Specific gravity 0.74 @ 25 degC. Drying time approximately 2 seconds @ 20 degC. TLV (ACGIH) 60 ppm. Flash point well below ambient -- classified as highly flammable; keep away from naked flame and non-flameproof electrical equipment, use only with adequate ventilation. Has no effect on the speed of cure or final strength of Loctite adhesives other than providing a clean surface. May affect certain plastics or coatings -- check compatibility before use.
