For sealing metal and plastic tapered pipe threads and fittings up to 4 inch NPT in aqueous and non-aqueous fluids. Pressure resistance and sealability tested to 69 MPa (3/8 NPT steel tees/plugs pre-torqued to 27 N.m, tested per ASTM D1599 @ 23 degC). Allows adjustment up to 45 degrees after tightening. Integrated cutting tool in dispensing container. Not for pure-oxygen / oxygen-rich systems, chlorine or strong oxidisers. Typically used in applications up to 149 degC. 50 m cord. | |
