Loctite 435 is a rubber-toughened, one-part cyanoacrylate instant adhesive with increased flexibility and peel strength and enhanced resistance to shock and impact compared with standard grades. It provides rapid bonding on a wide range of materials including metals, plastics and elastomers, as well as porous and absorbent materials such as wood, paper, leather and fabric.
| Technology cyanoacrylate; chemical type ethyl cyanoacrylate; appearance colorless to straw-colored, slightly cloudy liquid; one part, requires no mixing; low viscosity; cure by humidity; application bonding; key substrates metals, plastics and rubbers. Rubber-toughened for increased flexibility, peel strength and shock/impact resistance | |
| Typical uncured properties | specific gravity @ 25 degC 1.1; viscosity cone and plate 25 degC, shear rate 1,000 s-1, 100 to 250 mPa.s (cP). Fixture time on degreased steel @ 22 degC / 50 percent RH 30 to 45 seconds. Typical cured performance after 24 hours @ 22 degC: lap shear strength ISO 4587 on grit-blasted steel 19 N/mm2 (2,700 psi); tensile strength ISO 6922 on grit-blasted steel 14 N/mm2 (2,000 psi). Performs in thin bond gaps (0.05 mm). Tested to Henkel test protocols based on ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards. PDF file (TDS) attached. 20 g bottle. |
