| Technology acrylic; chemical type dimethacrylate ester; blue, thixotropic medium-viscosity liquid (uncured), positive fluorescence under UV light. One component, requires no mixing; anaerobic cure with activator secondary cure. Specific gravity 1.1 @ 23 degC; viscosity by Brookfield RVT (25 degC) and Cone & Plate (shear rate 129 s-1). Breakaway, prevailing and breakloose torque tested per ISO 10964 (M10 steel/zinc nuts and bolts); compressive shear strength per ISO 10123. Cure can be accelerated on less active substrates with Activator SF 7471 or SF 7649. Particularly suited to stainless steel and coated (zinc-flake / zinc-plated) fasteners where disassembly with hand tools is required for servicing. Not for pure-oxygen / oxygen-rich systems or strong oxidisers. Operating temperature -55 to +150 degC. 50 ml bottle. | |
