Hexatronic LDK1951 is a hand stripping tool for removing the outer sheath of small multipipe (microduct bundle) assemblies used in blown-fibre optical networks. The tool scores the jacket without damaging the inner ducts, allowing individual microducts to be exposed for splitting, sealing or connectorising. Typical use is field preparation of multipipe at splice enclosures and branch access points in FTTx deployments.
