Hexatronic 20880-45 is a 45 mm splice protection sleeve used to shield fusion-spliced optical fibers. The heat-shrink sleeve with internal strength member reinforces the exposed joint after the coating is removed for splicing. Typical applications include long-haul and access fiber network splicing where mechanical protection of the joint is required.
