PharmaLine is Hanovia’s pharmaceutical and high-purity water range, built to sanitary design for purified and highly purified water systems, where UV is used for disinfection, ozone destruction in distribution loops and TOC reduction. On validated pharmaceutical duty the lamp is a qualified component: replace it with the specified part and on the interval in the validation, not on observed failure. Medium-pressure UV lamps lose output steadily through life rather than failing outright, so they are replaced on elapsed running hours against the system’s dose record, not when they stop lighting.
