Quartz sleeve for the Hanovia UVEO-H8 system. UVEO is Hanovia’s PureLine Ultraviolet Energy Optimised range, a single-lamp medium-pressure design that reaches its duty on up to 60 % less power than a conventional multi-lamp system. The quartz sleeve is the pressure barrier between the treated water and the lamp, and the only optical path between them, so it must both hold system pressure and pass UV without loss. On a single-lamp system this is the only sleeve in the chamber, so its condition sets the transmission of the whole unit — there is no second lamp path to carry the duty while it is fouled.
